We were referred to Mynt by a credit card processor who we did business with two other of our companies. We opened a Convenience Store, Liquor and Gaming Center in Illinois. It did not take very long to find out that Mynt has a reputation for restaurants and small retail. Any more deeper than that, Mynt is just not a good POS solution for many products and vendors. They told us they could do parent and child relationships with multiple SKU’s for products, but they clearly can not. We paid 2K for a Register, and customer support could not answer our questions and asked us for a menu. WE are NOT a restaurant. After months of complaining what software to use, why it would not work, They now will not let us return the register because it is too late, when their tech support created all the delays by not doing what we wanted it to do. MYNT sales management said “I understand your frustration and can sympathize with your situation being out $1000+ in hardware you have no use for…. and I genuinely want to help – but even if Celero were to issue this RMA now, the request will be denied. There are policies we must follow here.” Open a hot dog stand use MYNT, open a liquor or convenience store better use something with meat in it.
