Pretty easy to follow their calculations but if you have a payment that needs to be voided or refunded it must be completed the same day. So, if a person on the west coast makes a payment after hours and you intend to refund that for various reasons, the next day, you end up paying the processing fee and the flat rate fee twice. Essentially, you are trying to keep you client happy but Affinipay is not trying to keep their client happy. And they do not negotiate, they stick to their guns no matter what the problem … and there is no way their cost is 2.8%. I will continue with them but will not make referrals.
