Amazon Payments Overview
Amazon Payments, also referred to as “Login and Pay with Amazon,” is a third-party payment option offered by global online retailer Amazon. Similar to PayPal’s “Buy Now” buttons, Amazon Payments enables e-commerce merchants to embed a button into their websites that lets their customers securely check out using the credit card information they have stored with Amazon. This process takes place on the seller’s website without directing customers off-site, which helps reduce the risk of abandoned carts. Amazon deposits payments directly into merchant’s banking accounts within three to five business days.
Amazon Payments includes extra features like customer tracking, automated recurring billing, mobile-optimized checkout, and compatibility with most major online shopping carts. Amazon Payments costs 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction and does not charge any setup fees, monthly fees, annual fees, or termination fees. Phone and email customer service is handled by Amazon seller central. Jeff Bezos is the CEO of Amazon.

Online reputation and reviews
Due to the wide range of products that Amazon provides, it can be difficult to separate Amazon Payments complaints from complaints about the seller experience within the Amazon marketplace. Even so, there are about 30 verified negative reviews about Amazon Payments on various merchant forums. Commonly cited issues include withheld funds, slow payouts, poor customer service, a concern that the service could send customers to Amazon, and problems with the buyer dispute process. Given the size and ubiquity of Amazon.com, this is a very low complaint total for the service.

Marlon Shaw says
I stet-up an Amazon payments shopper account on 3/22/2018, my e-mail was verified, my bank account was verified, and a message stated that my identity was being verified and that it would take up to 24 hours. It is now 4/15/2018, I contacted representatives eight times, I have been told that they are sending a message to Technical and to wait 1-2 days. So, for some reason I am being refused service, I canceled my Amazon prime account, I was going to replace my fire-stick, but I will be going with a competitor.
