Was simple somebody got somehow got in my account and took my account and my bank card and my all that stuff and I told him about it and they told me that they looked into it and that’s not my account and cuz they switched my cash out I don’t know how they did it but now it says fu king on it and I’m not I’m Jason my cash app said Jason Patrick $jasmo2178 not fu king but anyways I told him they said wait 60 days and it takes 60 days to look into it whatever then I get a message saying they close my account for why I don’t even understand so I’ll call him back and they said they’ll go back over it again and take 30 days and then and then they keep doing that over and over again they took my money they took my account they took all of it I need to know who I need to get a hold of to do something about it

Money Disappeared

I’ve never had money disappear from my PayPal or Venmo. This is completely unacceptable. It’s been about a month since filling a complaint. With all evidence provided. The customer service rep basically said he was sorry. There was nothing he could do except hand the complaint over to higher authority. Cash app has employees stealing money and no one is being reimbursed…. Also, they have hidden all Truth reviews on the Google Play App

CashApp closed my account without warning stating that I violated their terms of use. However, they have been completely unwilling to explain which of my absolutely typical transactions was a supposed violation. They offer me no explanation and no way to resolve the issue. They keep telling me that someone in their review department will contact me by email, but I have been waiting for almost 6 months for that email and it has never come. I have reached out through the app chat and by phone multiple times and I keep getting the same total BS response. This has been such a major inconvenience, as I have children away at college and other family members with whom I send and receive money. Now I have to use Zelle for everything. I personally got all of my family and friends to use this ridiculous app (regrets) and now I cannot even use it! I am telling everyone I can that they should absolutely steer clear of CashApp! Apologies to all those to whom I ever recommended it.

My account was closed and I still have no idea why. I have been trying to get ANY KIND of support on the app for 5 days now and not one response. I’ve called the support phone line 4 times and they just tell me to go back on the chat support on the app. I have money that is on my account and bills that I need to pay. yet no one at cash app seems to care at all. you would think that anything important to their customers would be important to them as well, but obviously they could care less. If I don’t get a response soon I’m going to be contacting my lawyer and see what she has to say about it. This is completely ridiculous that you don’t even care about your customers, and could care less if they loose their house or can’t pay bills, just because you are to busy to help them. Maybe if you would have a support phone number that can actually help instead of just telling you the problem with the account and then pushing it off to the chat bot on the app. Or maybe you should hire more people to respond to the emails that are sent! You are messing with peoples lives and don’t even care, it’s pathetic!!!

Robbed by cash app..

Cash app claims that I switched my personal account to a business account on 12-22-2022 which is not true. When I asked them why had they been charging me for almost 4 months over $300 since August or September they said they couldn’t help me with anything more then the previous 7 days and refunded me $15 for cash app business account fees. The other almost 4 month’s of being charged fee’s for a business account that they claim I switched to in December is gone. I never switched from a personal account to a business account. They can clearly see that I was being charged for months before the alleged switch. I was told they were only giving me the past 7 days of fee’s. So cash app has stole and is trying to keep my money that they charged me in their ridiculous fees for a business account that I never signed up for. They can clearly see that the same people who I exchanged money with at the opening of my personal account is the same exact people that I exchange with today and all the time in between. There’s nothing business about my account.

it’s wrong I’m in tears I feel so violated too they call and activist if they were supports carrying my f&^%&#@ account and I fell for it it’s like money that I worked for that I need for rent I cannot stand this freaking out it’s awful they’re so impersonal holy s#@! they need to warn people as soon as you open the app about these things taking place or they don’t have respect for their costumers ls they don’t care they’re s%$#@! on people why is it not first thing to prevent further fraud . they are claiming to be cash app support helping you. I recently was told that this gentleman if you want to call him that I’d like to call him other things. One is from Facebook his name is Albert, and he was going to help me get my Facebook back because it was stolen from somebody posing as someone from Cash App. He said we had to buy codes to get rid of the hackers on my account. Well he hacked my account through Cash App for $10,834. I have tried to reach out to Cash App you can never ever get a representative on cash app on any of their phone numbers. I have got the FBI local authorities and we’re investigating this, Cash App is nothing but a crooked outfit. And this Albert guy if you are reading this I really wish you’d come and find me. Me myself do not recommend using Cash App at all

My Maryland Unemployment Direct Deposit was rejected by Cashapp on 08/19/2020. I called Customer service and was told the money will be reflected back on the senders bank account in 1 to 3 business days. It’s been 4 business days, i called the Maryland Department of Labor and they are telling me the payment cleared and was not sent back. The amount involved in almost $13,000 and this is money me and my family really depend on. This is very stressful, Cashapp is not trying to do anything to answer my questions. I just need the money back because my family depends on it.

I’m tired of corrupt, dishonest people who say they have your back but drag you through the mud instead! I’m out 1200.00, and I want my money. How do you trust another application to send money across the world? I’ve contacted CashApp Support and have received responses but I don’t know if I can trust them. Thank goodness I saved all my conversations with them. I support anyone that can get a class action lawsuit against CashApp/Square!!

CashAPP is horrible. Why are they even allowed to process payments since there is 0 protections for people and if you do make a complaint, there is no one to hear you…..

Cash app stole $3,940.00 from my card and there is no way to reach them. They do not have a phone number, they have no way to communicate with them except emails which they do not respond to.There does not seem to be be any recourse.I have sent emails and the only response was an email stating someone would get in touch with me but no one did.

I was just scammed today. my whole Cash App account disappeared and my $417.65 disappeared. the only way I can contact Cash App is through email so I’m still waiting on a response back but after reading everybody’s comments I feel like I won’t be seeing any of my money!! Today my card was declined so of course I Google Cash App how to talk to a representative and A phone number appears so I dial it not paying attention to the other comments that were on google. some man answered with an Indian accent he told me my account was frozen and he had to verify my identity so he was going to text me a code and we did again I didn’t pay attention so I gave him the code and then he said he needed to verify my pin number and I gave him my PIN number. I was not putting it all together that he was getting my information so he can open up my Cash App account. He then told me he had to create a new account for me but he had to verify my identity so he wanted me to give him names of people that were on my Cash App. so I gave them my son and daughter information and we did a three-way and then he was asking for their information so they can be identified as well he did the same thing to them as he did to me my son is out $800 from his bank and luckily my daughter did not give her account info. this has been a nightmare!!

My son tried to withdraw his pay off his cash app card. The atm said he reached his daily limit, but he never used the card that day. He contacted customer support, then bam, all his money was gone!!! he is devastated and now will possibly be evicted because cash app stole his money….. how do I file a claim to get his money refunded??? anyone, please help

I been a victim of square cash app, May 8th 12th and 13th I notice these weird names and transactions of 10.00 being authorized from my account through my debit card. My bank refuse dispute the charges because they were cash app transactions which cause me to be at a list of 30 dollars. I tried contacting 1-800 and email Squarecash app but can’t get a reply. I have never used cash app and I don’t know any Tamar Butts, Eduardo or Deborah in California. I never been to California and I live in Charlotte NC .

There should be a lawsuit against these cash app links who has users able to steal innocent people’s personal information.

I am currently out of work due to surgery and I can’t afford to keep closing and shutting down debit cards and having a replacement card sent to me in 10 business days just to avoid loosing money again. This is ridiculous.

Cash App is a total Scam. Verified my account instantly using wellsfargo. Verified my email. Sent and invoice to two customer and it “failed ” twice between two customers. I received emails from cashapp stating the transaction failed for your protection. Customer Service sent a reply to my.email saying “it looks like your account is verified. ” not a very good reply. Now my customers say there bank told them it was fraud, assuming my company is a fraud. Opened a Square Account and the bank account was verified, then went to Activate the Square Master Card, the funds disappeared. Then received an email stating my Square Account was suspended. None of these merchant accounts work after two transaction, same with Venmo, verified didn’t even use the account within 24 hours received an email saying account suspended. Wow, I will never use any of them again. There all BS, and No Customer Support, Gpay did the same crap, gpay chat is BS with people just reading from a script.

don’t normally do transactions thought anything except my bank.

I just read a complaints similar to mine. So I have been scammed of $4000. This means cash app itself is a scam. I

All I did was try to send $500 to a merchant through cash app. The transaction was declined for my “protection” and refund had been issued and would be returned to my account is 3 business days. After that I did not receive my refund.

I tried to contact CashApp to no avail. I looked on Google and found 855 number and they answered. And indeed they worked through my cash app and gave me specific info. This is why I believed them.

In order for me to get my $500 refund I must buy Google play card for $500 which I did. After that they said because I live in New York minimum is $1500 which means additional $500 gift card which I did. Then they started giving excuses after I didn’t receive my refund that CashApp doesn’t allow them to deposit money. And in order to get it through their direct processing I would need to buy another Google card for $1000. I was furious. I contacted police, filled FTC, filled Google complaints. Police didn’t help one bit. They were just blaming me. These guys in the other end go by name John Jose and Joseph Suri. They access my computer to do this process. I believe them until the last minute even after I contacted police. They told me that many people filled FTC cases against them but it didn’t work. I also learned that CashApp doesn’t have customer support number which I told these guys but they denied. I did speak to cash all through email but they can care less about the missing $500. They showed no empathy. Instead they told me that my file is closed. Clearly CashApp square CashApp is very much responsible for lapses. They are very poor organization and they need to shut down. This is not how to handle business. We talking about hard earned money. I have been reading complaints about Square cash before I found myself into this but they aren’t specific as much as I read here. Complaints on this site are very similar to mine. This prove that I was scammed and I have no way of getting my money back. Difficult to prove. I have bunch of Google gift cards as my only evidence. Bank refunded only $500 transaction lost in CashApp database. Anyways I’m expecting $4000 refund since Monday February president day and the following day I called Joseph Suri and John Jose but their number doesn’t work all day.

Cash app square Cash must be fined heavily. They allowed these scammers to scan people. They are not partly responsible but fully responsible.

I have used Cash App and I had a little over $250 stolen from my Cash App account. The sad part is you can only email them and you have to wait for them to respond to you. I learned the hard way that there is NO phone number to contact them. This is something they should make known prior to making transactions. As of today, 10/05/2018, I have not heard anything from them regarding my money.
