I have been using Circle for quite some time. This year I deposited a good sum of funds into my account and bought $500 dollars of numerous crypto back in Feb. My account went “under review” a few days later. I still can not access my account today. I have contacted them numerous times “only asking for someone to get back to me and let me know someone saw my problem”. Circe can’t even respond with a simple message telling me they are aware of my issue. 3-5 days of account review (who knows why it is being reviewed) has become 2 months of account lockout.

Circle Company Overview

Circle Internet Financial Ltd. is a U.S.-based financial technology company founded in 2013. It is best known as the issuer of USD Coin (USDC), a regulated stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar. USDC is backed by cash and short-term U.S. Treasury assets, and Circle publishes regular attestations to verify its reserves. The company operates the Circle Payments Network, which facilitates the issuance, redemption, and transfer of USDC across multiple blockchain platforms, including Ethereum, Solana, and Algorand. Circle’s services are utilized for various applications, such as cross-border payments, decentralized finance (DeFi), and digital commerce. In addition to USDC, Circle offers EURC, a euro-backed stablecoin. The company has formed partnerships with financial institutions and technology firms to expand the adoption of its stablecoins. In 2025, Circle filed for an initial public offering (IPO) and relocated its headquarters to New York City as part of its efforts to integrate more closely with traditional financial markets.
