Integrated Card Service Overview
Integrated Card Service (also known as “International Card Services”) is a merchant account provider that acts as a reseller of iPayment products and services. It’s unclear when the company changed its name from International Card Services to Integrated Card Service, but it retains its original domain name (intlcardservice.com) to this day. Integrated Card Service also operates under the name “Merchant Account Solutions,” and it appears that this latest brand is now more prominently advertised than the Integrated Card Service brand.
Integrated Card Service’s products and services include QuickBooks integration, mobile payment processing (for BlackBerry), virtual terminals, an online payment gateway, point-of-sale systems, mail order and phone order solutions, and merchant cash advance. The company does not list any dedicated support contact information on its website, but it’s likely that iPayment provides 24/7 for all of its customers. Christopher Antoneson is listed as the president of Integrated Card Service.
As of this update, the Integrated Card Service website has been stripped of most of its content and is no longer responding. The company’s alternative DBA is still active.
Integrated Card Services processes major credit and debit cards, takes phone, mail, and mobile payments, and provides e-commerce solutions.
Integrated Card Service offers equipment leasing through First Data Global Leasing. The company has received more than 40 public complaints and does not have a dedicated profile with the Better Business Bureau.
Integrated Card Service appears to resell the contracts of iPayment, and charges for PCI compliance, non-compliance, monthly statement, and chargebacks are not competitive with the cheapest merchant accounts.
iPayment leases payment processing equipment from First Data Global Leasing for 48 months, and if you cancel before the end of the lease, you will owe thousands of dollars.
Integrated Card Service has a high processing rate, early termination fee, and a pattern of nondisclosure by sales agents.
Over 40 Integrated Card Service complaints have been filed, many of which accuse the company of deceptive sales tactics, expensive contracts, unhelpful or unavailable customer support, and the unauthorized debiting of undisclosed fees.
Integrated Card Service appears to have a severe problem with its customer service team, and is unlikely to offer a direct phone line to its support team.
The Better Business Bureau deleted Integrated Card Service’s profile and consolidated iPayment’s complaints with those of Integrated Card Service, and had 74 complaints in the previous 3 years.
Integrated Card Service’s accreditation was revoked on September 17th, 2012 due to a troubling pattern of complaints. A representative stated they were working to improve the company’s reputation.
Integrated Card Service appears to be hiring independently contracted sales agents to market its services, which is a common hiring practice that results in elevated complaint rates among merchants.
Integrated Card Service charges a monthly fee and also waives the first three months of service, which is not disclosed in the fine print of the contract.
Integrated Card Service is a top-rated merchant account provider for merchants, but its sales tactics and contract terms are uncompetitive.

Online reputation and reviews
Integrated Card Service has received over 40 negative reviews related to the Integrated Card Service and International Card Services brands and over 80 complaints pertaining to its latest DBA, Merchant Account Solutions. Overall, it’s difficult to track the company’s reputation over time due to its multiple similar names and tendency to rebrand itself every few years. However, the available complaints about the company mention undisclosed fees, misrepresentation of contract terms, difficulty cancelling accounts, unauthorized debits, poor customer service, and expensive termination fees. These complaints are completely consistent with complaints that are commonly filed against other iPayment subsidiaries.
