MLS Direct Network Company Overview

MLS Direct Network is a cooperative buying network and registered ISO of Fifth Third Bank, First National Bank of Omaha, and Wells Fargo Bank. It provides merchant sales professionals access to wholesale, “processor-direct” pricing—designed to offer better rates and faster profitability than traditional models, by returning excess profits back to merchant partners. Their services include credit and debit processing, e-commerce, recurring billing, cash advances, ATM programs, EMV-capable terminals, pay-at-the-pump, check guarantee and recovery, ACH and recurring billing solutions, and PCI compliance support. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, the network was originally founded as Alpha Processing in 2000 and expanded nationally in 2004, operating somewhat like a nonprofit where most profits are reinvested in member support. The company handles estimated annual revenues between $10 million and $100 million and employs approximately 10–100 staff.
