PayFacto Payments Inc., widely known as PayFacto, is a financial technology and hospitality services company founded in 2018 and headquartered in Montreal, Canada. It emerged through the merger of three fintech entities and has since built a suite of integrated solutions, offering payment processing, POS systems, and software tailored for restaurant and hospitality operations. The company develops proprietary products—such as the Maitre’D and Veloce POS platforms and the all-in-one solution VelPAY—delivered via SaaS and supported by a network of distributors and resellers. Operating across Canada, the U.S., and the U.K., PayFacto serves over 30,000 merchants and facilitates more than ten billion dollars in annual transaction volume. It is registered as a money services business in Canada (MSB) and has grown through strategic acquisitions, including POS vendors Posera, Resto Finances, iShopFood, and NEOPOS. The company received significant growth capital—up to CAD 150 million—to fund expansion and further product development.
