Horrible Service. Our business changed because of their customer service & fees. They charged us $895.00 because they said we didn’t return the card reader. We returned the only one that we had, they said it was the wrong serial number. We had nothing but problems with them the entire time we used them. Stay away from them. They are horrible! They have so many divisions, EXP, Chellcom, and they always blame the other part of the company. I have been on the phone for 30 minutes, spoke to someone for less than 2 minutes, then they dropped me.

Our nonprofit groups (7) in all signed up for this service to process our credit card payments. We have been trying to cancel the service for several months now and they continue to debit our accounts and fail to respond. This is the WORST company to deal with and one person doesn’t know what the other is doing, and you can’t get a straight answer from anyone.
Here’s another really crappy company, out of Dallas Tx. They are called Chellecomm and they are an independent company who works in conjunction with PayProTect, and uses North American Bancard. I’ve probably got some of that wrong, but they are all tied together.
Chellecom signed me up with a promise that they could do everything I needed, for only $79 a month. I just needed to sign a 4 year lease on equipment. (what a fool I was) They are partnered with Azura Leasing, another predatory company, and they provide iron clad lease agreements that are impossible to get out of. To leave the lease you have to pay in full, the remaining amount. The account manager who called me, her name is Paula Sumera, promise me all these great services for less than I was paying, but once it came time to set me up, they couldn’t even get my inventory correct, and in order to process CC payment, the system went through a full reboot process that took minutes to complete! Terrible system for me.
A rep from Chellecomm said they could pay $2700 of the 48 month lease, which I should have taken, but now 11 months later, I am unable to get a response from anyone at the company.
Chellecom and Azura leasing are predatory companies.
Beware, there is no need to sign a lease for merchant terminals as they are so much cheaper to buy outright than to rent/lease.
THESE PEOPLE ARE CRIMINALS. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY DO NOTHING BUT SCREW PEOPLE OVER.

Payprotec
About 2 months ago I was contacted by payprotec telling me they could save me money. I had been with First Data processing company for about 12 years and had no issues.
Payprotec said that I was paying retail (through First Data) for credit card processing and that they would only charge me $1.00 per $100.00 of sales, instead of $8.00 per $100.00 dollars.
It was a bit confusing changing the terminal processing from First Data to Payprotec. It was about $400.00 to get the payprotec terminal set up.
After about a month I did not see any change in the cost, it even seemed more. Their statements were extremely complicated.
Suddenly, I started to get scam sales and I contacted payprotec and I could see that my Fraud line Pro security was intervening and cancelling the fake orders. Payprotec also had velocity controls which would stop so many of the same attempted purchases. They agreed and we kept the terminal open.
I got a couple of calls from people saying that their “Cash App” was getting hacked by Dansha Farms (my company) but it was stopped. These people told us that three companies were being attacked mine and two others. The cash app people were quite understanding and sympathetic.
I contacted the Madison County Sheriff to advise them and to let the public know if they had cash app to change their password
A few days later I received a phone call from Payprotec telling me that my gateway for credit card processing was permanently shut down.
I contacted First Data that I was with for 12 plus years and they immediately reinstated me and opened my old terminal.
Then I opened my bank account as I do every day and on 04-03-23 $3879.99 was removed from my account for processing fees. I was floored. I went to my bank, and they could do nothing. The bank said to stay with First Data as the bank uses them and they are quite reputable.
I contacted Payprotec and spoke with one person after another. They said they would open a ticket and it would be 2 to 5 days to hear back from them. That never happened. I also contacted another from Payprotec and they said they would send in a credit request. Nothing happened. I have spent hour after hour with false promises after another.
I went online to check on Payprotec and found many complaints with the Better business bureau and Rip off Report as well as many other reports of fraud.
What happened to their velosity controls to stop this scam.
I am very very suspicious as to their activities. It is my opinion that it is criminal.
We need a class action lawsuit!
This company has been difficult to deal with since we started 1.5 months ago. Charges are increasing on a regular basis. We are trying to cancel but it has been impossible! Do not go with them! The worst part is the sales dept that refers them – ” Merchant Services” but the email address is “Theadaragroup” Absolutely horrible, and will say anything to get a sale.
Signed up with them last May 2022. I told the sales rep I am a service company and I am busier in the summer months and slow in the winter months. I told her I may have no credit card sales for months at a time and then a lot of sales. She never mentioned anything about a minimum sales or additional charges will be added. She told me the A920 machine is free. 2% of all sales and 24.95 per month for the service and an additional 9.95 for the internet portal of the A920. That’s it. 35.00 per month. Well after 3 months my credit sales got lower because I am in my slow months and looking at my statements I noticed I am paying 63.95 per month and a rate of 2.80%. Last month I had 1 sale at $435.00. They took out $73.92 in fees from that one sale. I also mentioned to the sales rep that on the contract it says 3 years minimum. I told her I cannot sign up for 3 years. She replied and said DON’T WORRY that doesn’t pertain to you. You have a Tier1 Month to Month cancel anytime contract. So I told her to change it and she again said DON’T WORRY. Well I went to cancel my agreement because this sales person lied to me, Never explained anything in detail just to get a sale and the cancellation department said $795.00 early termination fee. I again said your sales person is a liar and she should pay for this not me I can’t. She said she was going to go back and listen to the phone conversations between me and the sales person. I told her she will not here anything about minimum fees and additional charges if you don’t do enough business. She never mentioned it to me. If she comes back and tells me that the sales rep did explain this then I want to hear that conversation…Rip off company…They are rude. They hang up on you and never get back to you as soon as you have a issue. Please help!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY: Payprotec offers low rates and NO contract. Then my FIRST bill. Rate went from .50 and .10 to 3.96% and 149.00 annual service for their service for 3 years! Messages have been left w/ sales rep and every dept, NO respond. Spoke with a person after 11 days. I wanted to cancel my service. I could FOR 795.00. For a No contract? The person the phone told me “I just work here; I don’t make the rule” I was not with this company a month. It was clarified multiple times, no contract-you can cancel at any time. Also involved- 2 months free with another company then billed monthly (14.95 monthly) to access your own statements. BEWARE: NO SCRUPLES! BE VERY AWARE!
Don’t sign up with these people as you will never be able to get your account cancelled.
So I have been charged monthly 60.97 after ending my service and they won’t get it cancelled still after calling with this complaint. I can not afford there illegal charges.
