Valant Medical Solutions is a Seattle-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, founded in 2005, that provides electronic health record (EHR) and practice management tools for behavioral health practices. It offers clinical documentation, billing, scheduling, telehealth, e-prescribing, automated intake and assessments, outcome measures, reporting, patient portal features, and online patient payment options. The platform is built specifically for the workflows of psychiatrists, therapists, and behavioral health clinics. Valant claims to support more than 22,000 behavioral health professionals across all 50 states. In December 2023, Valant was sold by its previous investor Gemspring Capital to Resurgens Technology Partners. Its goal is to improve efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and help practices focus more on patient care.
