Nuvei does not appear to use any deceptive advertising or rate quoting, but its marketing strategy has damaged the company’s reputation and the company’s internal policies are not doing a good job of regulating its resellers’ marketing practices.
In an email to us, a representative of Nuvei stated that sales channels must meet internal standards, and that the company has reduced merchant complaints, which has improved its rating in this section.
Nuvei rates as an average merchant services provider according to our rating system, and has the same service and pricing that Pivotal Payments was known for.
