Overview
Cardinity is an online payment gateway and merchant account service that originated in Vilnius, Lithuania. The brand was operated by an entity licensed by the Bank of Lithuania as an electronic money institution, with principal membership at Mastercard International and Visa Europe, and it primarily served e-commerce merchants accepting card payments online across the European Economic Area and select international markets.
Current Status
The Cardinity website now redirects to Nomupay, a global payments group headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, that acquired Total Processing in 2023 and consolidated several payment brands under the Nomupay name. The Cardinity product and brand are no longer marketed as a standalone offering; new merchant onboarding flows are routed through Nomupay applications.
Services Offered
Reported product capabilities under the Cardinity brand included a hosted payment gateway, recurring billing, multi-currency processing, an API for direct card-on-file integrations, and 3-D Secure authentication. Settlement was offered in multiple currencies with payouts to merchant bank accounts.
Pricing
Cardinity historically published its rates online prior to the rebrand to Nomupay. The figures below are reported by user reviews and expert content reflecting Cardinity's published pricing while the brand was operating.
Processing Rates
Reported standard pricing for cards issued in the European Union or European Economic Area was 1.35% plus 0.25 euro per transaction. Cards issued outside the EU or EEA were reported to be subject to an additional cross-border surcharge on top of the base rate.
Other Fees and Terms
Reported account setup and monthly fees were zero. Chargebacks were reported to incur a 25 euro fee per dispute. A rolling reserve of 5 or 10 percent was reported as standard, held to cover potential chargebacks and released back to the merchant when no claims occurred. Discounted pricing was reported as available for merchants processing more than 50,000 euro per month.
Current Pricing
Under Nomupay, pricing is no longer published as a fixed schedule. Nomupay offers Interchange Plus Plus and blended pricing models, with the actual rate quoted on application based on the merchant's business profile and risk category.

Merchant Reports
Write a review →Cardinity has been holding my money for the past 2 months. They refuse to put the reason in writing and I now suspect they have just stolen the money.
I am now taking this up with visa and the regulators.
SCAM company!
