About Inner Fence
Overview
Inner Fence is a software company headquartered in Redmond, Washington that develops mobile credit card processing applications for merchants. The company was founded in 2007 by Derek Del Conte and Ryan D. Johnson, both former Microsoft engineers who built the business around the idea of letting independent merchants accept card payments from a phone, tablet, or computer rather than a traditional countertop terminal.
Products
The company's flagship product is Credit Card Terminal, an application that runs on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Mac, and Windows. The app supports both swiped transactions through a free magnetic stripe card reader and keyed transactions when a card is not physically present. Features include digital receipts delivered by email or PDF, on-screen signature capture, refunds, transaction history, sales reporting, and the ability to use one account across multiple devices.
Processing Model
Inner Fence offers two ways to use Credit Card Terminal. New merchants can sign up for an integrated plan in which Stripe acts as the underlying payment processor and Inner Fence provides the application, card reader, and support. Existing merchants who already have a merchant account can connect the app to a wide range of third-party gateways, including Authorize.Net, Braintree, First Data, NMI, PayPal Payments Pro, PayTrace, Sage Payment, USA ePay, and others. Customer support is described as US-based and is included with all paid plans.
Pricing
Subscription Plan
Inner Fence's integrated Stripe-backed plan is offered at seventy-nine dollars per month when billed annually, or ninety-nine dollars per month on a month-to-month basis. The subscription covers unlimited terminals, includes one free card reader, and gives access to the company's US-based support. There is no long-term contract and merchants can cancel at any time without a termination penalty.
Transaction Fees
Card transactions processed on the integrated plan are handled by Stripe, so per-transaction processing rates are the rates Stripe publishes for its standard payment processing. Inner Fence charges its monthly subscription on top of those processing fees.
Other Fees
The company states that it does not charge application, sign-up, setup, handling, minimum processing, annual, mobile, leasing, PCI compliance, address verification, or batch header fees. The chargeback fee is fifteen dollars per dispute, which Stripe refunds to the merchant if the dispute is resolved in the merchant's favor.
Existing Merchant Accounts
Merchants who already have a payment gateway can use Credit Card Terminal with their own processor under a separate pricing arrangement rather than the Stripe-backed plan, and rates in that case are dictated by the merchant's existing gateway contract.

Do not have anything to do with this company. They stole hundreds of dollars from me. Couldn’t cancel for long time. Don’t have anything to do with them. Year was 2016 . Everything is a lie
