National Payment Corporation, doing business as NatPay, is a third-party ACH processor and document distribution provider headquartered in Tampa, Florida. The company was founded in 1991 and reports processing more than $158 billion annually for over 318,000 ACH clients nationwide. Its services include ACH transactions, direct deposit, wires, escrow and tax impound accounts, pay cards, and a same-day ACH offering branded as NatPayNOW.

In 2007 NatPay launched Doculivery, a web-hosted platform for the secure online distribution of payroll documents, electronic pay stubs, W-2 and 1099 forms, e-statements, and other employer communications. The platform is used by payroll service bureaus, human resources departments, and financial institutions. NatPay states it is HIPAA compliant and undergoes an annual SSAE 18 (SOC 1) Type 2 examination.

NatPay does not publish a full retail rate card on its public website. According to a published partner pricing addendum, Doculivery is reported at $0.47 per pay stub or 1099 recipient stub and $0.99 per electronic W-2 or 1099, with no monthly minimum. A one-time setup fee of $59 per client company is reported for new Doculivery or Direct Deposit enrollments.

Direct Deposit Correction Fees

NatPay publishes a schedule of direct deposit correction fees that can apply when a payroll file requires corrective action to meet a pay date. Reported charges include company payroll recall fees, per-item correction fees for transactions returned due to incorrect banking information, and an excessive returns fee reported at $100 or one percent per transaction, whichever is greater. These correction fees apply only when corrective handling is required and are not part of standard recurring billing.
