Overview
Indigo Payments, Inc. is a merchant services provider headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, founded in 2007 by Linda Kelley and Erik Hendricks. The company operates as a registered Independent Sales Organization of Wells Fargo Bank, Concord, California, and provides payment processing and related services to small and mid-sized businesses across retail, restaurant, and other industries.
Products and Services
Indigo Payments resells Clover point-of-sale hardware and software, general card-processing services covering credit, debit, and gift cards, and a customer-engagement platform called IndigoCCR that handles text and email outreach. The company also offers business cash advance funding and surcharge or cash-discount programs marketed under the name "Free Processing." Merchants are supported with custom point-of-sale implementations through Indigo's in-house operations team.
Pricing
Processing Rates
Indigo Payments does not publish processing rates on its website. According to user reviews and expert content, the company uses an interchange-plus pricing model rather than tiered pricing, with the markup negotiated for each merchant based on industry, processing volume, and average ticket size. Indigo states publicly that its merchant rates are guaranteed not to increase for the life of the account.
Contract Terms and Other Fees
Indigo Payments states that it does not charge early termination fees, a position the company publicly adopted in 2014 and continues to advertise on its current website. Reported user complaints from before that change suggest some merchants were billed cancellation penalties on earlier contracts, but Indigo's current marketing materials indicate termination fees have been removed for new agreements. Monthly fees, statement fees, and equipment charges are quoted on a per-merchant basis and are not posted publicly.

Merchant Reports
Write a review →I just paid Indigo twice in two days balance in full. They are taking their sweet time with processing the payment on the site. This doesn’t need to take a long time.
I have paid my card -never late and never over my available balance. One year went by and for no reason, they added a monthly fee. Please keep my name for any lawsuits against this predator. This is the gauging and abuse Congress has been discussing.
I made a payment on Feb 16 online my bank released the payment immediately my payment has still not been processed I was told there is a 14 day hold. If I mailed the payment I could understand that but technically I made a cash payment. I never had this problem before. I only had 1 other problem I made a payment and they waitied 2 days to process it because I live on a fixed income my drug company sent out my medication early and deducted the funds from my account which caused my account to have insufficient funds when I called indigo and asked why my payment wasn’t processed the day I requested they said they don’t process on the weekend I told them My payment should have been processed on Friday . They had no comment I. made payments more than Minimum amount due my feelings are why bother might as well keep that money in my checking account
Envie mi pago.de 40 Dolores y no sale reflejado en mi cuenta quiero saver el porque
I scheduled a payment 3 weeks earlier than was due because I didn’t know when payment date was. I canceled it knowing I have 3 -4 weeks before my payment due. Now they froze my account. And the payment isn’t even due for 2 more weeks. Why did they freeze it if I’m not late on payment?
I’m trying to reach someone I cancelled my account 1 yr ago they still trying to charge and now it’s in collections
INDIGO IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER! CUSTOMER SERVICE REP GIVES WRONG INFORMATION AND NEEDS MORE TRAINING. THE COMPANY TOOK $ 321.00 FROM ME IN FEES AFTER MY CARD WAS NO LONGER ACTIVE. THAT WAS 4 MONTHS AGO. I SPOKE WITH 3 CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS, AND 2 DIFFERENT SUPERVISORS WHO LIED. I’M STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND. ********
